Archivist Assistant

• Labelling and storing Sample in Racks and Vacutainers.
  
• Maintaining the HSE Warehouse’s environment to enhance the shelf life of sample
  
• Retrieving of sample on request and keeping accurate records
  
• Indexing and barcoding of document related to sample logistics and storage location
  
• Evaluation and QC of all scanned or digitized logs and documents before archiving or loading into Esearch database
  
• Professional archiving of logs, technical reports and documents for easy retrieval
  
• Maintain uniform bar-coding of logs, Reports and documents in line with Total Group document archiving specification.
  
• Carry out all his duties in a safe and environmentally friendly manner
  
• Maintain excellent Housekeeping within and outside of the Warehouse Environment
  

• Treating official Samples, data and document and with utmost confidentiality and priority
  
• Maintain high level of responsibility and Product quality assurance
  
• Timeliness and focus are key requirements of the job holder
  
• Sending outgoing sample and/or documents in timely manner
  
• Cordial inter-personal relationship with other members of staff, contractors and visitors
  
• Professional Archiving and indexation skills
  

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Sciences and Computer science
  
• Good appreciation of English Language and effective report writing skills
  
• Computer proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  
• 5 years or more working experience on the job as Log digitizer and Archivist
